"Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and to those who are in the tombs bestowing life" Beloved Brothers and Sisters, The congregation of St. Cyril of Alexandria Coptic Orthodox Church wishes you and your family a blessed Feast of Our Lord's Resurrection, filled with spiritual blessings and joy in this Paschal season, the feast of feasts. In addition, our parish is pleased to announce additional services to its weekly schedule. Starting this Saturday (May 11th), and on every other Saturday to follow, there will be an adult book club, where we will be reading and discussing various books of great spiritual and theological value. The book club will be followed by the Vespers service. Immediately after, there will be a Coptic and hymns class for parents and children, as well as anyone interested in learning. For this coming Saturday, the schedule will be: 6:00pm - 6:30pm: Adult Book Club (discussion of book to be discussed) The same services will occur on every other Saturday starting at 5:30pm. Please spread this exciting news to anyone interested in joining our book club, and/or is looking for an opportunity to learn Coptic and hymns. |
